Two dynamic Aberdeen companies have built on an established collaboration partnership to offer clients an integrated service to support and manage their decommissioning activities.

Through effective collaboration Apollo and Dundas Consultants offer their advisory services across a full suite of disciplines required to plan an effective cessation of production and decommissioning campaign in line with regulatory processes. This includes geoscience and reservoir engineering, well engineering, economic evaluations, operations, engineering and project management.

Oil and Gas UK anticipates an annual spend of GBP 1.5 billion per annum on decommissioning activities over the next decade and it is becoming an increasing area of activity for asset owners in the North Sea as the basin matures and is coupled with the challenges of a low oil price.
