Petroplan has established its ninth international office in Dubai, UAE. The opening will strengthen Petroplan’s worldwide network and its ability to source the very best candidates from a global talent pool, regardless of the client’s location. The new office is Petroplan’s second facility in the Middle East and will serve as a hub for the company’s activities across the region.
In addition to enhancing its global reach, the move will allow Petroplan to better serve its clients and candidates locally in the Middle East, in anticipation of major new and ongoing developments. The region is set to remain a ‘powerhouse’ of the global oil and gas industry for years to come: Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran are in the top five countries in terms of proven oil reserves, with Kuwait and the UAE in the top ten. Dubai is a natural location for the new hub, given the level of regional activity being managed from the city and its excellent regional transportation links.
The new office is based in Jumeirah Lake Towers and will be headed up by Monika Pál in her new role as Dubai Office Manager. Previously a Senior Contract and Mobilisation Consultant at Petroplan’s UK head office, Monika has a wealth of experience managing and supplying contractors in the region. Monika also brings with her an extensive network of contacts, as well as a familiarity with local requirements and culture.
