(SPE) Middle East Intelligent Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition

“Transforming for Improved Decisions,” is the theme of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Middle East Intelligent Oil and Gas Conference and Exhibition taking place 15–16 September 2015, at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event will serve as a knowledge and experience-sharing platform for intelligent energy development and implementation across the exploration and production value chain.

The keynote addresses at the opening ceremony will be provided by SPE 2017 President Janeen Judah, general manager, Southern Africa Business Unit, Chevron and SPE Regional Director, Middle East and North Africa Fareed Abdulla, senior vice president NEB Asset, ADCO. The executive plenary session, “Progressing Intelligent Oil and Gas in a Low Price Environment,” will focus on the development, implementation, and role of new and more intelligent technologies in the current oil price environment.

Industry experts will discuss several key aspects of intelligent energy through three panel sessions: “Building the Business Case and Managing Expectations: How ‘Smart’ is ‘Smart’ Enough?," “What is the Future of Collaboration?,” and “Innovation: Which Technologies will Drive our Vision? What’s on the Horizon?” More than 45 technical papers and ePosters will be presented across 10 technical sessions which are devoted to topics such as: “Big Data and Analytics,” “Real-Time—Drilling,” “Real-Time—Realising Production Value,” “Intelligent Completions,” “People and Change Management,” “Reliability and Performance,” “Real-Time—Modelling and Optimisation,” “Integrated Workflow,” “Intelligent Oil and Gas—A Global Perspective,” and “Emerging Technologies.”
